Awards
1. To be eligible for the prizes and awards given away at our bowling
banquet, you must be present six weeks prior to the event.
2. You can still come and play for fun before or after six weeks, but
total time must equal to or more then six weeks to qualify for awards.
Missed Games
1. To make up a game, you must have a member of the league present
with you. This person is anyone that has bowled with the league on
more then two occasions.
2. Missed scores are the average of three games, but all three game
scores should be reported to the team's scorekeeper.
3. If you do not wish to make up a miss game, your average score from
the week prior will be used for all three games minus ten pins. So Mr.
X has scored 110 for his average games the week before, MR. X doesn't
show up this week though. Mr. X's score for this week will be 100 for
all three games (110 – 10=100.)
4. After three weeks of not showing up in a row, you will be dropped
from the score boards. If before six weeks, you can start over again
but not with your score from before.
5. You can make up missed games before or after the Sunday league
meetings. Beware that you will be playing six games that day though.
Bowling Etiquette – The Do's
1. Yield to the right away, the bowler on the right delivers first.
This rule doesn't apply if you are on the left and trying to get a
spare.
2. Be ready to be bowl when it is your turn.
3. Bowl immediately when it is your turn. Once you have your ball,
assume your stance and start your delivery, it isn't necessary to wait
for lanes on either side of you to be cleared before you bowl, just
observe the 'right of way' rule.
4. Return your bowling shoes to the counter control desk after
bowling, and if you've borrowed a 'house ball' return it to the
storage rack.
5. Be polite.
Bowling Etiquette – The Don't s
1. Do not use any unnecessary language that can bother bowlers on your
league or in the surrounding lanes
2. DON'T linger at the foul line after releasing the ball. As soon as
your ball hits the pins after your set return to your seat or the
general area.
3. Friendly bantering is an accepted part of the sport, but don't
overdo it. Be a good competitor.
4. Don't have a poor attitude because of your score, your fellow
bowlers, or your spot.
5. Don't talk to bowlers while they are on the way to make a shot.
6. Don't use another bowler's equipment without asking.
7. Don't take the bowling alleys equipment. Stealing is bad.
Tardiness/ Alternatives
1. We will be ready to bowl at 6:15 pm. If you wish to participate in
the practice game, this will began promptly at 6:00 pm.
2. If bowler arrives before the first game has started, they can still
bowl in this game. If not, the bowler must sit out and average from
the two games after will total bowler's score for the missed game.
3. Alternatives may be used whenever a team member is not present.
This person must be approved by the league ahead of time.
4. For purposes of definition: An Alternate is an individual who bowls
only for the designated team member and must pay the $7.00 league fee.
Dismissal
1. You can be dismissed from the bowling league for or not limited to
• Conduct
• Conduct Violations after warning
** Since this is the Max team, we hardly see this happening, but if
you are affecting other Max members while bowling, you will be warned
about your behavior.**

three games played.
2. No dropping lowest score games unless all members agree on this.
